My Quilting Journey

Welcome to Needle & Threads!

I have been involved in sewing on some level since my childhood and placed this on hold during my career as an RN and mother of two now grown daughters.  At my retirement I invested in a new sewing machine and restarted my quilting journey.   As the pile of unfinished quilt tops grew I began to explore the world of longarm ownership.

Acquired my Handiquilter Amara with Prosticher in December 2023 and am in love with all of the opportunities this has opened.  I have finished off that stack of quilt tops, finished quilts for our local Quilts of Valor and local quilt guild Community Quilts program.
